Daniel Forrester
(he/him)
Daniel was born in Memphis, but moved around a lot before eventually settling in Ames, Iowa. Daniel entered the tattoo industry in 2005 and traveled across the country in search of knowledge and mentorship. Throughout his travels he worked in Iowa, Pennsylvania, and California.
In 2012, Daniel returned to Ames with passion and a dream to make a positive impact on the community. In May of 2013, he founded Inkblot Studio as a one-man painting and tattooing studio. He spent the next years building his clientele and the reputation of the studio as a go to space for community and art.

Reed Wu 吳昱男
(he/him)
Reed spent his childhood in Taitung, Taiwan, before embarking on his journey in the United States in 2005. Graduating from Iowa State University in 2014 with a BFA in silversmithing. Reed found his passion for tattooing at Inkblot Studio, where he began his apprenticeship in August 2016.
In his current tattooing venture, Reed prefers to work in black and grey with more stylized designs. Styles he enjoys would include Traditional Japanese, Traditional American and stippling/ dot work tattoos.
Besides tattooing, Reed finds joy in gaming, indulging in D&D adventures, binge watching anime, and spending time with his family.

Israel “Izzy” Walker
(he/him)
Izzy is a Colorado born, Iowa raised Utahn, who started his tattoo career in Ames, Iowa in 2002. Experienced and well versed in a variety of styles and techniques, he has a recognizable product that ranges from his smooth and detailed black and grey, to his signature full color stylized pieces. Izzy prides himself on the ability to help realize the subtleties and details of each client’s ideas and inspirations.
